This application for the Thematic Network PLASpain (National Platform for the Promotion of Cold Plasma in Biomedicine and Agri-Food fields) aims to foster collaboration, coordination, and the creation of synergies among the eleven leading national research groups working on Cold Plasma and its industrial applications. All applicant groups have received funding in previous calls of the Spanish State R&D&I Plan, and some have jointly participated—under the “coordinated project” modality—in the execution of projects on Cold Plasma. The synergistic collaborations that would emerge within this Network are expected to increase the impact of the research outcomes from those projects by bringing into direct contact the most prominent Plasma research groups at the national level.
